Purple and yellow flowers brighten this vintage porcelain brooch, but its sweetest detail is tucked on the back: a handwritten dedication that appears to read “To Lee from Dot,” dated 1973. That small personal inscription gives this floral piece a connection to someone’s gift-giving moment more than fifty years ago.
An ornate gold-tone frame surrounds the oval floral center. The reverse has both a pin fastening and a pendant bail, allowing it to be worn on a lapel or suspended from a chain.
