Lot of 10 vintage advertising matchbooks from Kenny King’s Family Restaurants, the beloved Northeast Ohio chain that served as the Cleveland-area Kentucky Fried Chicken franchisee alongside their signature Big King Steakburgers. Two cover design variants — one reading “Family Restaurants and Carry-Out Stores” and one reading simply “Family Restaurants” — both featuring the classic crown-with-silhouettes logo in red and white. Reverse side advertises Big King Steakburgers (“King of Them All”) with locations in Greater Cleveland, Elyria, Ashtabula, Lorain, and Cuyahoga Falls. All printed by Columbia Match Co., Cleveland. Most matches intact.
A wonderful piece of Northeast Ohio restaurant history for the phillumenist, KFC collector, or Cleveland nostalgia enthusiast.
