The face is serene and finely detailed, framed by an elaborate beaded headdress. Gilt highlights illuminate the jewelry, the lotus throne, and the cascade of ornamental beading across her chest.
Cast in copper and finished by hand, she carries the warm patina of age and use — the polychrome paint shows honest wear, the gold catching light in the way of things that have been loved and kept.
