Time stood still for this one — and that’s alright. This vintage Gruen ladies’ dress watch carries the unmistakable elegance of the Art Deco era: an octagonal gold-filled case with architectural lug work, a warm champagne dial printed with Arabic numerals in that distinctive 1930s script, and the Gruen name centered just below 12 o’clock where it always belonged.
The case back is stamped Gruen Curvex Base Metal. The expansion bracelet is present but broken — the clasp end has separated — and the movement is untested. Sold as-is for the collector, restorer, or parts buyer who knows exactly what they’re looking at.
