This vintage “Bless This House” wall plaque is a solidly built piece of mid-century American devotional décor: a rich walnut-toned wood base with beveled edges, a raised brass praying hands medallion set against a speckled teal background, and an engraved brass sentiment plate reading Bless this house, O Lord, we pray / Bless it, Lord, by night and day. The brass medallion is well-cast with fine detail; the teal speckle background gives it a depth that photographs don’t quite capture.
The engraved plate sits slightly askew — a small quirk that likely happened at the factory or long ago on someone’s wall, and has been part of this plaque’s character ever since. Ready to hang via keyhole mount on the back.
