This is a vintage rubber squeeze toy based on the Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe — the boot itself forms the body of the home, with a pitched shingled roofline across the top, a small door and window molded into the side, and a tiny round-headed figure perched at the peak. All in one seamless piece of soft peach rubber, the kind that has a satisfying give when you squeeze it and a faint squeak if the hole on the bottom is still clear.
Marked “23” on the sole — likely a mold number. Approximately 6” tall, 7” long. No paint or color — the molded detail does all the work. Light surface scuffs consistent with age; no tears or missing pieces.
