Front cover features a Mercury-era astronaut in full silver pressure suit under the headline “The Astronauts.” Flip it over and The Alamo diorama takes center stage. Inside, a full color spread showcases over 40 life-size wax figure dioramas — Ponce de Leon discovering Florida, the Boston Tea Party, the Battle of New Orleans, Lincoln, Kennedy, Pope John, Churchill, Davy Crockett at the Alamo, and the early NASA astronauts: Shepard, Glenn, Carpenter and others.
