An antique French majolica plate by Sarreguemines, dating to circa 1890, molded in high relief with overlapping grape leaves in shades of green and gold, centered around a cluster of hand-painted purple grapes. Marked “Sarreguemines France” on the reverse, visible in photos. A beautiful decorative plate reflecting the height of French majolica craftsmanship.
Measures 7.5 inches in diameter. Antique condition — please see photos for the maker’s mark and any glaze wear or crazing typical of 19th-century majolica. A wonderful addition to a majolica collection or as a striking wall display piece.
