A genuinely handmade piece of Ohio bicentennial history. This studio pottery plate, glazed in warm terracotta tones with a hand-painted slate-blue medallion, commemorates Lodi, Ohio as the first settlement in Medina County (1776–1976). At center stands Chief Hopocan, rendered in soft earth tones against a mottled blue ground. Signed “M.K. Dallas” and numbered 128/500 — a limited edition, not a mass-produced commemorative. Deeply textured, tactile glaze with visible hand-throwing marks on the reverse.
