This one commemorates The Old Cemetery on East Liberty Street in Medina, Ohio (1825–1950), donated by Elijah Boardman, and it names names — Revolutionary War veteran Harmon Munson, Civil War soldier James Welsh (killed at Gettysburg), War of 1812 veteran Austin Badger, WWI’s John Fassett, ministers, a doctor, “the old sexton,” an unknown peddler, a wife, and a child who died in infancy. Reverse explains it was made to fund fencing restoration as part of Medina’s 1976 Bicentennial project. Genuinely rich in genealogical detail — the kind of piece family historians actively search for.
