A wonderful mid-century coin purse handcrafted in Czechoslovakia, once a hub of fine glasswork and rhinestone production in Central Europe. The exterior is entirely hand-set with faceted silver-tone glass rhinestones in a dense chainmail-style mesh mounting — a labor-intensive technique typical of the region’s decorative metalwork from this era. Zipper closure with a cream fabric interior lining and the original “Made in Czechoslovakia” label intact inside. A compact, glamorous little piece with genuine collectible history behind it, equally at home carrying coins or as a striking addition to a vintage jewelry or handbag collection.
