Charming vintage handmade metal angel candle holder featuring a wonderfully primitive folk-art construction.
The approximately 5” tall angel is formed from shaped and joined sheet metal with a flared skirt, dimensional head and collar, articulated-looking arms, and large overlapping wings. She holds a small cup designed to accommodate a slender candle.
The aged silver-tone surface has developed substantial natural patina, oxidation, spotting, scratches and discoloration, giving the piece a particularly appealing timeworn character.
No maker’s mark was observed.
