Mounted inside the case is a Hoover Company presentation medallion featuring a vintage upright vacuum cleaner over a globe and the inscription “The Hoover Company – A Proud Past – An Exciting Future.” The clock is marked “Made in W. Germany.”
This unusual combination appears to have been produced or presented in connection with The Hoover Company, making it an especially interesting piece of Hoover advertising/corporate memorabilia as well as a collectible German clock.
