Beautiful vintage round table topper measuring approximately 27 inches across, filled with wonderfully colorful handworked details.
The lightweight ivory fabric is decorated with dozens of small embroidered flowers in pink, blue, green, yellow, lavender and red, along with six larger circular floral medallions. A decorative stitched border winds through the design, while the entire piece is finished with a substantial hand-crocheted scalloped edge in soft pink, cream and golden yellow.
This is one of those vintage textiles where there is something interesting everywhere you look. The combination of embroidery and crochet gives it a cheerful folk-art quality that would be lovely on a round accent table, dresser, tea table or layered into cottage and eclectic vintage decor.
