Beautiful handcrafted olive wood Jerusalem cross featuring a layered central cross, four smaller crosslets, carved star accents, and textured detailing. Original Ten Thousand Villages tag remains attached and is marked “Made in West Bank” with handwritten “Olivewood.”
The Jerusalem cross is traditionally composed of one large central cross surrounded by four smaller crosses and is strongly associated with the Holy Land and Christian pilgrimage tradition. The natural grain and warm coloring of the olive wood make this especially attractive as a devotional piece, wall cross, or meaningful religious gift.
Measures approximately 4” long.
Condition: Very good preowned condition with original paper tag still attached. Minor age/storage wear may be present.
Provenance: Acquired from the contents of a convent that closed. This rosary dates to 2000 and was among the religious/devotional items from the convent.
