Large vintage brass jardiniere / decorative planter made in the Republic of Ireland.
This substantial vessel measures approximately 13” across the bowl, approximately 16” across the ornate side handles, and 7” tall.
The rounded brass body has a rolled upper rim and highly dimensional cast decorative handle mounts with an Old World / European appearance. Interior retains its original “Made in the Republic of Ireland” label.
The brass has been left in its naturally aged condition and displays extensive authentic patina, darkening, spotting, surface wear and areas of green verdigris/oxidation, particularly inside. This has not been polished, allowing the next owner to preserve the aged finish or restore it according to preference.
Wonderful as a large cachepot, jardiniere, centerpiece vessel, fireplace accessory or statement decorative object.
