Vintage Vera Neumann oblong scarf featuring a bold red-and-white geometric composition of oversized polka dots, tiny dots, stripes and checkerboard-like blocks. Signed “Vera ©” within the design.
Measures approximately 14” x 44”. Lightweight fabric with a soft drape. There is some snagging/pulling from age and use, although the busy graphic pattern disguises it quite well; please review photos for condition.
This one has a terrific 1960s/early-1970s Mod / Op Art feel. Vera was enormously prolific—she created thousands of textile designs—and her graphic scarves are still collected as wearable textile art.
