Lane miniature cedar chests were promotional keepsakes distributed through participating furniture retailers and are often mistakenly described today as salesman samples. Lane originally introduced its miniature chests through its Girl Graduate Plan, presenting them to young women as graduation keepsakes while promoting the company’s full-size cedar hope chests.
This example is especially attractive, with rich wood color and considerably nicer overall condition than many surviving examples.
Preowned vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. No key included. Please review photographs for exact condition.
