Unusual vintage statement belt featuring approximately 41” of thick twisted silvery-blue cord with a large Large ivory-tone molded sand dollar pendant with glossy finish; exact material unknown. It has substantial weight and a smooth, almost resin-like feel.
Designed as a flexible wrap/tie style belt rather than a traditional buckle belt, allowing the wearer to knot, loop or drape the cord for different looks.
The ceramic centerpiece has a creamy ivory-yellow glaze with a hand-drawn muted mauve sand-dollar/star motif. Wonderful coastal, nautical and artisan styling.
