Vintage U.S. military Silver Star Medal ribbon bar featuring two bronze oak leaf cluster devices. The Silver Star is awarded for gallantry in action, with bronze oak leaf clusters used to denote subsequent awards.
This example retains its metal mounting bar and dual clutch-back fasteners. The reverse of the mounting bar is marked SUSCO / S-21, a manufacturer/supplier marking documented on military-issue Silver Star ribbon bars.
The ribbon features the distinctive red, white and blue Silver Star pattern and measures approximately 1 3/8 inches wide.

Condition:
Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear. The fabric shows some wear and the bronze oak leaf devices have developed oxidation/patina, particularly one of the two clusters. Metal components also show age-related toning. Both clutch backs are present. Please review all photographs closely for exact condition.
