Antique Homan Manufacturing Co. quadruple silver plated serving tray, pattern #1685, featuring richly raised grape clusters, leaves and scrolling vine decoration around the oval border.
Marked Homan and associated with a design patented in December 1903, this substantial early 20th-century serving piece has a wonderfully ornate Victorian/Art Nouveau look. Pattern #1685 examples are documented with the same embossed grapevine decoration.
This piece has heavy aged tarnish and patina throughout, including darkened and uneven areas to the silver-plated surface. It has intentionally been left unpolished so the next owner can preserve the aged appearance or polish according to preference. Surface wear, oxidation and signs of age/use are present. Please review all photos closely for condition.
