This wonderfully unusual vintage glass dome display feels like a tiny cabinet of curiosities captured under glass. Inside is a layered arrangement of dried flowers, wheat, seeds and beans, a tiny corked bottle, and a miniature wood display backed with antique-style advertising imagery.
Approximately 13” tall overall with the glass dome in place.
The display sits on a square wood base beneath a removable glass bell jar. The miniature arrangement has an intentionally aged, primitive appearance, with natural dried materials and old-fashioned printed imagery creating a wonderfully eccentric folk-art feel.
Vintage preowned condition with age-related dust, wear, dried botanical shedding, and natural irregularities throughout. Glass dome appears intact in the photos. Because many of the interior elements are delicate natural materials, some movement or loosening may be present with age.
