This striking framed artwork has a moody, glamorous 1980s feel, with a mysterious woman in a wide red hat emerging from a dark, atmospheric interior. The deep black, plum, gray, and red palette gives it a dramatic Art Deco-meets-Miami Vice look that makes it a fantastic statement piece for a bar, lounge, bedroom, dressing room, or eclectic gallery wall.
The artwork is signed on the lower right. The reverse of the canvas is also marked in pencil with the name Janice McCamon, which appears to identify the artist, though I have not independently verified the attribution.

Presented in a substantial black frame with gold-tone inner trim. The frame shows some age-related surface wear, scratches, and scuffing consistent with previous display. Artwork itself presents very well and has strong visual impact.
A wonderfully dramatic vintage piece with unmistakable late-20th-century style and plenty of decorative presence.
