Vintage Wall Salt Box Primitive Kitchen Seed Flower Shadowbox Country Decor
$34.00
A wonderfully unusual vintage wall box combining primitive kitchen storage with a tiny piece of folk-art decoration. Behind the clear front panel are compartments filled with dried beans, seeds, small shells or other natural materials, along with pressed dried flowers.
The box has a hinged sloping lid that opens to a roomy interior and a hole at the back for wall mounting. Its form resembles traditional wall-mounted salt boxes, although its original intended use is not marked.
Constructed from pressed hardboard / wood-fiber composite rather than solid wood.
Measures approximately 7” tall x 6” wide x 3.5” deep.
Vintage condition with surface wear, scratches, marks and age-related patina to the finish. Natural contents behind the clear panel show age as expected. Please review photos closely.
