A striking vintage Virgin Mary figurine with a distinctly Southwestern interpretation, featuring geometric black and terra-cotta designs against a soft ivory body. The simplified form and regional decoration give this piece a very different presence from traditional Madonna figures and make it especially appealing for collectors of Southwestern religious art.
Measures approximately 8.5” tall.
The back is hand marked “Feliz NM”, and the underside is dated 10/96, giving us a firm 1996 vintage date. The base also has additional handwritten markings from a prior owner or shop.
Ceramic or pottery construction with a matte finish and painted details.
Vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age. No major chips, cracks, or repairs visible in the photos. Please review all photos closely for exact condition.
