This handmade primitive girl is packed with wonderfully homespun details, from her green plaid pinafore to the individually stitched watermelon slices decorating her mustard-yellow skirt. She carries a little woven basket filled with leaves and has a wonderfully aged, country-folk character.
Measures approximately 19” long. Handmade cloth construction with brown hair, layered clothing, appliquéd watermelon details and basket accessory. A metal hanging loop is incorporated into the back of her head scarf so she can be displayed as a wall hanging.
She shows noticeable age/storage wear, including staining and discoloration, particularly on the feet, along with scattered marks and a hardened area that appears to be old glue in the hair. Handmade stitching and age-related wear are visible throughout. Please review all photos closely for condition.
