For the golfer who has everything, apparently someone once decided the logical next step was to make the golf bag itself into a handbag.
This wonderfully unusual vintage novelty purse is shaped like a miniature golf bag, complete with a cylindrical body, dimensional zippered “club bag” pockets, gold-tone piping, contrasting yellow stitching, shoulder strap and substantial metal hardware.
And then come the best part: two miniature golf-club-shaped charms dangling from the side. Finished in glossy deep burgundy with red and gold detailing, they give the bag an absurdly good finishing touch and feel substantial rather than flimsy.
The brown exterior has an intentionally aged, crackled leather-like appearance. Interior label reads Made in Taiwan R.O.C.
Measures approximately 11½” tall.
Exact maker, material composition and decade are unknown. Because no material label is present, I would describe the exterior as leather-like rather than guaranteeing genuine leather.
Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related surface wear/patina visible throughout. Hardware, stitching, zippers, strap, charms and interior should be reviewed in the photographs for condition.
