Vintage Hand Painted Wooden Santa Bells, Set of 4 Graduated Christmas Folk Art
$28.95
A wonderfully quirky vintage set of four hand-painted wooden Santa bells in graduated sizes, each with its own slightly different expression and plenty of old Christmas character.
The bells are painted in classic red, cream, green and gold, with Santa holding a small evergreen tree. Each one has a rounded gold-painted wooden handle and a flared bell-shaped body. They range from approximately 6 inches tall down to about 3 inches, creating a great tiered display when grouped together.
The hand-painted faces are especially fun, with heavy black lashes, rosy cheeks, red noses and whimsical expressions that vary slightly from bell to bell.
These are genuine working-style wooden bells/decorative bell forms rather than nesting dolls.
Condition: Vintage preowned condition with noticeable age-related paint wear, flaking, scratches and finish loss, especially on the faces, collars and edges. The smallest bells show the most visible paint loss. Wear is clearly photographed and adds to their folk-art appearance rather than hiding what they are.
A great set for primitive Christmas decor, folk art collections, vintage Santa displays or an old-fashioned holiday vignette.
