A wonderfully homespun little primitive-style accent pillow with the kind of crooked charm that makes folk and country decor so lovable.
The front is pieced from assorted plaid fabrics in deep navy, burgundy, mustard and forest green, framing a warm tan center panel embroidered with the verse:
“old rag doll torn & tattered
you were my friend when it really mattered”
The intentionally uneven lettering and multicolor embroidery give it a childlike, handmade folk-art feel. The reverse is a simple solid mustard-gold fabric.
Measures approximately 8” x 8”.
Unbranded. Preowned vintage-style condition with light age/use wear and a few stray fibers consistent with textile decor. Please see photos for the best representation of condition.
A sweet fit for primitive, country, farmhouse, folk art, rag doll or nostalgic childhood decor.
