Vintage Presidential Campaign Button Lot Nixon McGovern Carter Political Pins Capitol Pass
$34.95
A wonderfully varied group of vintage American presidential campaign memorabilia spanning multiple election years, together with an original numbered United States Capitol visitor pass.
The group includes 10 political campaign buttons featuring:
• Humphrey / Muskie
• McGovern for President ’72
• Ford / Dole
• Jimmy Carter for President
• President Nixon
Also included is a numbered souvenir tour/gallery pass from the United States Capitol Guide Service in Washington, D.C., No. 27947. The reverse contains rules for visitors to the galleries of Congress and states that the pass was issued for the holder’s individual use and was not transferable.
An appealing little cross-section of late-1960s and 1970s American political history rather than a collection from one campaign alone.
Vintage condition with expected age, surface wear, oxidation and discoloration to some buttons and paper ephemera. Please see photos closely.
